Diamond Capital Holding — Investments

Private Equity & Investment Holding

A London holding company with an operating heritage across three continents.

Who We Are

The Company

Diamond Capital Holdings Ltd is an active private limited company incorporated in England and Wales on 2 September 2016 under company number 10357887, with its registered office at 1 Berkeley Street, Mayfair, London.

The Company is the private equity and investment arm of a group of businesses operating in different locations around the world, predominantly in real estate investment and development. Its method is straightforward: Diamond Capital Holding takes and maintains a position as principal shareholder in each company within the Group, and exercises that ownership to set strategy, allocate capital, appoint leadership and govern risk.

The Company itself does not trade. Value is created in the operating subsidiaries — developers, contractors, engineering practices and supply businesses — while the holding company concentrates on ownership, capital structure and the discipline that allows those subsidiaries to be financed and to scale.

Chairman's Statement

A disciplined home for long-term capital

Mohamed M. El Barahmy

Mohamed M. El Barahmy

Chairman

Chief Executive Officer
Diamond Capital Holdings Ltd (UK)
Board Member — Alliance Worldwide Consortium

Diamond Capital Holding was established in London to give a single, disciplined structure to businesses we had already been building for two decades.

What began in Egypt in 1996 as a contracting practice has become a group that develops, builds, supplies and operates across the Gulf, North Africa, Europe and Asia. As those businesses matured they required more than shared ownership: they required a common standard of governance, a common view of risk, and a single point at which capital could be allocated with conviction.

That is the role this Company performs. We take controlling positions in businesses we understand, we hold them for the long term, and we support them with capital, structure and the collective experience of the Group. We do not pursue scale for its own sake.

Our advantage is integration. Within the Group we can originate a development, engineer and construct it, procure and supply it, and manage it thereafter. Few independent developers control that full chain.

Investment Approach

How we own, and why it works

Diamond Capital Holding is a control investor. We acquire and retain principal shareholdings rather than passive stakes, because the returns we seek depend on decisions only an owner can make — where capital is committed, which projects proceed, and to what standard they are delivered.

01

Control & Governance

We hold the principal shareholding in each Group company, appoint its board and set its mandate. Strategy, capital and leadership are decided at holding level; execution stays with management.

02

An Integrated Chain

Development, engineering, construction, procurement, supply and operation all sit inside the Group. Margin and programme risk that others outsource, we retain and manage.

03

Geographic Diversification

Exposure is spread across the UK, the GCC, Egypt and Asia so capital can rotate toward the markets offering the strongest risk-adjusted return at any point in the cycle.

04

Bankable Structures

Projects are structured to be financed — secured, documented and reported to the standard institutional lenders and investors require before they commit.

Capabilities

What the Group can do

Development

Land development, high-rise residential and commercial towers, town houses, villas, malls and mixed-use districts — originated, financed and delivered in-house.

Construction

Turnkey construction using heated tunnel forms, large-area wall panel forms and aluminium formwork, supported by the Group's own formwork factories.

Engineering

Civil engineering, structural and MEP design, and telecommunications — through one of the largest in-house design departments in the Egyptian market.

Infrastructure

Water treatment and desalination plants, dams and pumping stations, power plant works, underground works, metal structures and industrial construction.

Procurement & Supply

Worldwide sourcing of materials, HVAC, lighting, solar integration, sanitary ware, hospitality appliances and FF&E — delivered on time and in full.

Operation

Commissioning of building management systems, facilities and resort operation, and asset management across the completed portfolio.

Group companies operate an Integrated Management System aligned to international standards, with quality standards documented in Quality Assurance manuals and safety managed as an operational function rather than a compliance exercise. Group companies have delivered in excess of EUR 2.6 billion of projects across six countries since 1996.
